Who is responsible

Timipre MacAulay, a sole proprietor trading as Persephone, is the data controller for personal data processed to operate the studio. For privacy requests, product support and rights-holder complaints, contact persephonepatternpixie247@gmail.com. Payment questions may be directed to Paddle at paddle.net; Paddle is not the studio’s privacy contact.

Account, designs and measurements

We process account email and sign-in identifiers to provide accounts; sketches, garment photos, instructions, body measurements and fit profiles to provide pattern tools; and chat messages to provide assistance. Login credentials are handled by our authentication service. Security and operational records may include IP addresses, device information, timestamps and errors.

Design projects and fit profiles use local browser storage as the working copy. Signed-in, entitled accounts can mirror projects and fit profiles to Lovable Cloud. Personal inspiration-album photographs remain in local browser storage unless you deliberately supply them to another workflow. Design and measurement data are not used for advertising.

AI requests send the inputs needed for the requested illustration, interpretation or chat to AI service providers. Do not submit sensitive or third-party personal data without appropriate permission. We use contract performance for requested account and studio services, legitimate interests for security and maintenance, consent for optional advertising measurement, and legal obligation for records required by law.

Service providers and international processing

Hosting, authentication, storage and AI providers process data to deliver the service. Paddle receives the information needed for purchases, payment support, tax compliance and invoicing and acts as Merchant of Record. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive data where necessary or legally required.

Persephone is operated from Canada, and Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) applies to the personal information we hold. Service providers may process data in other countries; where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, appropriate contractual or other legally recognised safeguards are used.

Retention, security and your rights

Local data stays on your device until you delete it or clear browser storage. Cloud projects, fit profiles and chat history are retained while needed to provide your account and until deletion is requested or required, subject to legal record retention. Purchase records are kept for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Data no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. AI-provider retention can vary by the processing service; no blanket zero-retention promise is made.

We use access controls, account authentication and encrypted transport, together with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep independent copies of work you value.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing; withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; and complain to the relevant supervisory authority. UK/EEA rights, where applicable, include a response normally within one month. Send any such request to persephonepatternpixie247@gmail.com.

What we measure

When advertising cookies are permitted, this site loads measurement tools that record which pages you visit and whether an advert led to a purchase. For a completed purchase we report the fact of the purchase and its value ($17 USD) — never your payment details, which are handled entirely by our payment provider.

In regions where the law requires it, we ask first: a short notice appears before any ad measurement loads, and nothing is recorded until you choose.

Who receives the data

Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) — ad measurement and optimization, via a Meta pixel.

Google (Google Ads) — ad measurement and optimization, via a Google Ads tag.

These platforms act as independent controllers of the data they receive; their own privacy policies explain their handling.

Your choice, and changing it

You can accept or decline ad measurement at any time. Use the “Cookie settings” control at the bottom of any page to reopen your choice — declining is as easy as accepting, and a decline is kept even if you clear the notice.

Declining stops new ad measurement immediately. In regions where consent is required, measurement stays off until you accept.

What we keep

Your decision (accept or decline, the time, and the text of the notice shown) is stored in your browser so we do not have to ask on every visit, and so we can honour it for any later measurement. It stays on your device.

Essential browser storage supports accounts, projects and preferences. Optional analytics and advertising tools are controlled by your cookie choice; declining does not disable the pattern studio.
