Terms of use & purchase

Timipre MacAulay, trading as Persephone · Last updated 9 October 2026

Who you contract with

Persephone is operated by Timipre MacAulay, a sole proprietor based in Canada, trading as Persephone. These terms govern your use of the studio and your relationship with its operator. By using the service you accept these terms. You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement or use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.

The studio and your access

Persephone supports garment illustration, construction study, pattern drafting, sizing and export. The advertised offer is a one-time US$17 payment for lifetime access, not a subscription; there is no automatic renewal. Taxes and the final amount are shown at checkout. Lifetime access means access for the operating lifetime of the service, not a promise of perpetual hosting or uninterrupted availability. Test-mode transactions are not real purchases and do not confer live paid access.

A paid account receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the studio. Access does not transfer ownership of the software, documentation or branding. Keep your account credentials confidential and provide accurate account information. You may not resell account access or circumvent technical limits.

Payments and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle’s Buyer Terms govern payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics. Our refund policy provides a 14-day request period and preserves applicable consumer rights. No recurring subscription is created by this one-time purchase.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain your rights in sketches, photographs, instructions and other inputs. You permit us and our service providers to store and process that content only to provide, secure and support the service. Only upload content you own or have permission to use, including permission from identifiable people where required.

You may use your generated outputs to the extent permitted by law and third-party rights. We do not promise that AI outputs are unique, copyrightable or free from third-party claims. Persephone’s software, documentation and branding remain the operator’s intellectual property. Do not redistribute the software or infringe others’ rights.

Acceptable use and moderation

Do not use the service for unlawful content, fraud, spam, hate speech, harmful impersonation or non-consensual deepfakes, malware, intellectual-property infringement, or security interference. Do not probe, scrape, bypass safeguards, jailbreak AI systems or interfere with other users’ access.

We may refuse or filter outputs, remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, fraud or security risks, or repeated or serious violations. Repeated infringement can lead to termination. For product support, rights-holder complaints and general questions, contact persephonepatternpixie247@gmail.com. Paddle’s payment support is not a substitute for this contact.

Accuracy and responsibility

AI interpretations and outputs can be inaccurate. You are responsible for your prompts, rights to inputs, use of outputs, measurements, construction decisions and checking fit, scale and sewing instructions. Review flagged results and test a sample before cutting valuable fabric. No output guarantees fit or replaces regulated professional advice, safety testing or skilled human oversight.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Keep independent exports and backups of important work. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties and liability for indirect losses are excluded. Nothing limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or personal injury where applicable.

Changes and closure

We may update these terms and will display the revised date. Material purchase changes do not override mandatory consumer rights. If access ends, retain your independently saved exports; cloud recovery and perpetual storage are not guaranteed. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, and nothing in them removes protections that apply under your local law, including Canadian consumer protection law.
